Our Hiring Process
We follow a structured and thorough hiring process to ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals we serve.
Step 1: Application & Review
All applicants complete a formal application and submit professional references.
Step 2: Interview
Qualified candidates participate in a phone or face-to-face interview to assess experience, values, and alignment with our mission.
Step 3: Background & Screening
To protect the individuals we serve, all applicants must successfully complete comprehensive background screening prior to hire. This includes:
- Criminal history record checks
- CAPS (Adult Protective Services) checks
- Office of Inspector General exclusion review
- License and certification verification (if applicable)
- Professional reference checks
We carefully review each applicant’s qualifications and background to ensure the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of the individuals in our care.
Hope Family Care Community LLC reserves the right to deny employment to any individual determined to pose a health or safety risk.
Step 4: Orientation & Training
Before providing direct services, staff complete required training including:
- Person-centered practices
- Health and safety protocols
- Abuse, neglect, and exploitation prevention
- Confidentiality and HIPAA
- Emergency procedures
Step 5: Ongoing Supervision
All staff receive regular supervision and quality monitoring to ensure high standards of care and continuous improvement.
